A group of members is hosting a lunch at Gotham (room 18-25) geared to new employees understanding their probation status. There is a lot of confusing jargon after joining the civil service, 'provisional', 'probationary', 'Weingarten rights', 'Incumbent', and 'Permanent employee' to name a few. We'll cover it all at this lunch! This session is geared to new Local 3005 members, hired within the last year, but all members are welcome. The local will provide pizza - see you there!
