Here are some ways to get involved!

  • Attend the next general membership meeting or event. Check out our calendar for upcoming events.
  • Join a committee. Committees are a core component of Local 3005's organizing structure and participatory governance.
  • Become a shop steward! Shop stewards are members who engage with their coworkers regularly and can be a first point of contact when members have an issue or concern. The only requirement is that you take the Shop Steward Class (sign up via DC 37 Ed Fund Academy). Email qhood.local3005@gmail.com with any questions.
