Description

  • Establish communications strategy that helps us shift to a member engagement model
    • Regular e-mail newsletter, as needed
    • Social media
  • Draft/coordinate communications to the Local
  • Press releases, comments to journalists, mailed resources, upcoming events, etc.

Possible subgroups or projects

  • Website Changes
    • Add useful information and resources; draft content
    • Add and manage calendar
  • Member comms
    • Identify and set up channels for member communication across Local (e.g. Signal, WhatsApp, Slack, Discord, etc.)
    • Work with Membership to develop messaging for engaging members in local activities and union fights
